B. Colorado

A fox and several several prairie dogs on the run, running to adapt to the lack of oxygen: a slap to the sordid running history fitness of forever slow {feeling}. In the moment, watching Laurey make dinner: salmon&herbs, salad with blue cheese and grape extract home-dressing, caramelized yellow onions with a mix of vegetables & unsalted seeds of sorts. Also, a dark dry chocolate Belgium.
A few days ago, with cousin & grandparents & atonatona clothes & books & that whole woe-I-wish-I-was-a-one-suitcase-kinda-woman whine, I took the poor Focus (who had quite a sad explosion of limb a week previous) through the mountains, following the rain and on to Boulder. The gas got cheaper as we pushed deeper. There were several cuss words to semi’s, several bloated deer asleep on the side, a bag of sour gummy worms, a box of licorice, a couple bags of pig skins & jalapeno chips, 4 avocado&turkey sandwiches, some nuts&fruit, oranges, iced coffees, and then once, when it was hard to stay awake, a pound of chocolate cake (compliments of father), and some yerba matte. Overall, it was not that difficult, because it’s hard to whine about a drive that gets you closer to something that you hope will be a charge of creative, athletic, and romantic stimulus.
