6/18 - 6/19

After waking up in confluence state swamp park, cori, ms. martini, & I spent the day in wenatchee looking at consignment. I purchased a red polyester gown with a slit up the thigh to the hooha. We also bough a variety of other awkward things. Next, we went back to swamp camp and made blueberry heart-shaped pancakes & coffee & mimosas. Then we freshened up in the camp bathrooms, got pretty, hopped in the car, & drove to love ln. to watch taylor & chris get married. We danced & drank chardonnay & special-brewed beer & left & packed up our tent & ms. martini took me all the way home. I woke at 7, had coffee with mum, couldn't eat a thing, re-acquainted myself with bellingham, and am now about to eat fried fish & sweet potato fries with pop & kim. And a pomegranate martini. Tomorrow I leave to celebrate kendra's 21st in vegas. Pop thinks I'm an alcoholic because I called him on the drive home from wenatchee last night and was full of ardour & a sort of pep I mostly lack day-to-day. We've spent the last hour going through boxes of high school paraphenalia, including letters in which I am addressed as, "peter licker." But not to worry, these were in balance with old signed liability forms from tube time & photographs of me age 7, dressed as dracula.
