I feel a strong sensation to nest. But I also connect to:

...though I've also felt a clandestine urge to own land and a house but dismissed the longing as old-fashioned materialism designed to create the illusion of permanence just when we must be getting in training for transience, then extinction.
                      - The Farewell Symphony, Edmund White

But still, I feel a strong sensation to nest, which might be alleviated in the belly of autumn - a sort of semi-permanence. I've developed lists around the room of fillers: salt in a bowl by the stove (appearance of foodie-living//encouragement for foodie-living?), an adopted fragile, ugly animal, a self-made succulents contraption, brewing kit, shhh no more!
