Trout

On Saturday Mads J. & I ran around Lake Padden with Ber & her dogs. It was opening day for trouts, which was unfortunate for Mads J., as she has a fish phobia. Afterwards we got coffees, a custard-filled donut and an almond croissant & headed to Civic Field for Western's home track meet, watching Coach Karis coach her athletes through a slippery pole vault, the steeplechase, and the rare outdoor Mile.

Mads J. and I had an appointment at a bridal boutique for her first lookabout. Before heading in, we should have gotten shots, instead: a latte & salad at a small cafe nearby. Her bridal attendant was really enjoyable, calming, helpful. We had fun walking through the racks, putting black clips on her favorites, trying on different styles to find the best fit. To celebrate the experience, we sat outside at a bar with two glasses of champagne.
